This workshop offers journals a practical first step into ongoing processes of decolonization. We will offer a preliminary checklist to see where you're at in your integration of decolonial praxis (you can engage with this checklist during and after the workshop, too), as well as a resource list to support the journey. By exploring several examples of journals that have either been built with a decolonial lens or have been working towards decolonial structures, this workshop will lead into practical discussion about how journals can move accountably towards decolonial approaches.
