In addition to annual activities that are part of CALJ ongoing operations, CALJ also pursues funding opportunities for projects that benefit CALJ members and the journal industry. Current project activities for CALJ members include the following
- Collective advertising initiative in University Affairs (http://www.universityaffairs.ca/)
- Collaborative initiative with University Affairs editorial team
- Collective promotion of journal content via meta-data harvesting initiative
- Industry stakeholder consultation and report
- Data collection, analysis and report on CALJ member journals
