As a member of the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences (see www.fedcan.ca), CALJ holds it annual conference as part of the Federation’s annual Congress, which brings together thousands of delegates from across the research disciplines.
Congress and the CALJ conference are held at a different university in Canada every year, which allows the event to be accessible to journal editors and managers in different regions.
With the support of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, CALJ is also able to offer travel subsidy to members if they have not been able to attend Congress in recent years.
CALJ hosts two full days of sessions for our members, balancing topics of interest to journal editors and journal managers, as well as sessions that aim to bring editors and journal managers together in order ensure that they are well informed as they move forward with collaborative and strategic journal activities.
CALJ conference presenters are asked every year to share their presentation materials with CALJ members (if you are a CALJ member, to view these, please click here to access the members-only section).
